Unfortunately Braddo, that is the nature of chronic pain. It has a mind of its own. You can have flares when you least expect them and, at other times, you can be quite sure in your mind that you have overdone things and yet, you get away with it.

Braddo happens all the time for what may seem as no reason, just the simple act of twisting on your lower back can send nerves into revolt, I have had 2 operations on my lower back, the result is a lot of scarring nerve damage and bony growths doesn't take much in the way of movement to disturb any of these to cause pain. Sitting and laying down are just a few of the triggers to set off my back, so what may seem like nothing may in fact be something, just a part of CP

YES it suckes I'm over thease patches they are
working to get me of the oxy down to 10 mg a day and hope to soon chuck them. I'm feeling
so nervous about I think I'm more mentally addicted than anything else . I want of all pain meds I'm sick of the withdrawel feeling . And it seem to happen everyday . one minut your fine and the next feeling weird not bad but u probably know what I mean. Then the aim is to slowley reduce patches i mean very slowley said my gp.

Braddo, I can feel your anxiety and I can understand why you are anxious. I wonder if it might be an idea to discuss your worries with your doctor in detail. The level of anxiety that you are feeling right now could very well be contributing to some of your symptoms. That is what can happen when your nervous system is so oversensitized.

Perhaps book a longer appointment and have a talk with your Dr. Tell the receptionist that you are concerned about things and they may be able to get you in sooner.
