Fee, Same here now as vic w.c - capacity assessments not only by your GP but an independent officer starting in Jan. I'm currently fit for 6hrs a week but when the pain specialist saw me he knew I'm not fit for a monkeys wedding let alone work, unfortunately. ...Thats why I have to look for 5 jobs a week (even though I have one). I ring places and they just hang up when I ask for a 6hr a week no risk/cost work trial! I also email my resume for jobs. Next time I see my gp i'll probably be put unfit and then the battle begins! I don't like talking here so only if you want to email me fine, otherwise I won't be offended. I don't want to mention or talk about my constant struggles i'm having here! Its not the right place. Hey, I hope you can take someone with you to your gp's appt!

Back on the boards and just read your post - 9 months! That's devastating! This terrible system cripples our minds and hearts so much. This lucky country should be supporting people injured at work, not be allowing us to fall through the cracks to social isolation and to become disenfranchised.
I was extremely lucky to not have any adjournments - but my solicitor sweated bullets until we were actually in court and under way!
Also - I'd be happy to sit in court while you testify. Its no effort for me to just sit there, no pressure on me, and you might feel there's someone on your side! Just a thought. You have 8 months and 29 days to decide.

To beautiful Fee ♥, I can't believe I missed this entire thread about your court case being adjourned for 9 months... WT!
I'm sorry for you because what a major stress and PITA for you to contend with plus it's just plain wrong.
Hugs and love to you sweetheart,
ps; I really like BIY, as your new username acronym; 'Believe In Yourself'
