You can Google pain management and either your suburb or Brisbane. You could try a combination of search terms such as pain management education or programs too. That's how I found the one near me. You could also try asking your GP or specialist if they know of any. Also you could ring or Google some hospitals and see if they run any. You could even ask your local council.
The first one I did was through a spinal management clinic.
There are private and public ones, but sounds like there's very long waiting lists for the public and big gaps in between appointments.
It would mean 10 days staying with my mother but I'm not sure if that's such a good idea to be honest.
My husband certainly doesn't think it's a wise choice and could well cause more emotional harm than the pain management benefits we're striving for. Anyway, I haven't yet discounted it totally.
I won't be doing anything until after my epidural in February so that gives me time to do so more research and think about the Noosa option.
