I'm so sorry that you have been put in another difficult situation and I wish I could do something to help but take the advice from John and Ricky and fight it! You deserve this treatment and you have to fight for it. Give it your all and maybe contact the Dr again as well and see if they can help? Always changing the goal posts is not acceptable.
I wish you all the luck in the world and hope it gets sorted for you.
Take Care and we are all here for you and thinking of you.
"Just thinkin' about tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow 'til there's none
When I'm stuck with a day that's grey and lonely
I just stick out my chin and grin and say, oh
The sun will come out tomorrow
So you gotta hang on
'til tomorrow, come what may!"
Thankfully the early release board approved the whole lot so i am not in strife, totally anyway. Still going to be tight in the coming weeks because my wife is taking time off to care for me and the kids, so without that second income we are going to struggle with mortgage, food and two car regos due. I'm thinking of leaving my car off the road for a while because I can't drive it anyway for a long time. At least the surgery isn't going to be cancelled.
WTC, I so get where your coming from with no second income
Our 2 nd car has been out of rego since end April, I am hoping to get hubbies tax done as early as I can so the tax return can rego the car.
But on a good note I now have 12 months and two weeks before my income protection starts getting paid to me. We will feel rich with the second income , lol
So happy your op is going ahead.

It has been a week now since surgery and I am doing so much better. Apart from lingering pain from the sutures in my belly, the nagging chronic pain seems to have gone. I can walk pretty much normally, no twinges of trapped nerves or shooting down the leg pain. My posture has improved too, no more hunching over to compensate for everything. Just need to get my wound healed and restore normal stomach functions and things are really looking up.
I really wish surgeries were treated in order of pain/length of ailment instead of by decisions made from insurance companies, bean counters and those who really aren't looking after the welfare of the people, but the welfare of big business' profits. Good luck to the rest of you, I hope your relief and a life-changing release comes soon.
