Thanks Johno I just did WOW, It is huge, I used to live in Sycamore st, down from the Plaza. After I left school I did an apprenticeship at Archerfield Aerodrome, it was bush all the way.

When I lived there it was "out in the Sticks", but it was a great place for a kid to grow up in.
Surrounded by bush, clean water streams, yabbies, skinny dipping, tree house in real trees. Even the school was in the bush, and you could sneak out for swim at lunch time, and after school.
It used to be a big American supply base during the war, and when they left, they set free a heap of horses, so we even had wild brumbies, to add to the excitement as well.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane, that was a blast.

Hey Johnno

Mate we've all been in the pit, and it can be bloody hard to get out, but some good mates help.

And you've got some mates here.

This is one of the few places that I feel comfortable talking about what I feel, and it's a safe space thanks to the Admins and that's part of what makes it a great place to be.

Illeatyu

“All the elements in your body were forged many, many millions of years ago, in the heart of a far away star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. And came together to form you, you are unique in the universe.

jonno, its peppa here and i,m wrapped that you,ve chosen to respond

please know that i don,t think you,re rambling and that its good to be able to talk in a safe-environment; where you know you are not being judged!

thats what this forum is, non-judgemental, as everyone here, have their own issues and at times it does get
very tiring; trying to put up with the pain.

So i do understand - honestly!

jonno
i,m really glad that your accupunturist iis helping when you see him
and
that he has been able to help you through some difficult times ; iin the past

i,m sorry i mis-understood what you were trying to say before- sorry!

i,m glad too, that you,ve been able to reduce your workload, cause, sometimes we end up pushing ourselves, for
heaps of reasons, ( that sometimes we are not always aware of; ourselves)
and
its good that you,ve been able to take the time off; that you need.

i also hope that the rest helps a bit and enables you to get on top of things at the moment..

sounds like its been a bit of a nightmare for you with the legal system - (work-related)
so i hope you have a solicitor, who deals with these issues on your behalf,
in order to help decrease; the stress involved in this process.

jonno, your psychologist sounds like they might be a good alie, when dealing with w/c and they too; can be a really positive support system.

finally, your wife must be pretty special, because as mentioned before, it takes time for your spouse to adjust to the changes, so i really believe that anyone who supports and is there for you; is made of gold - as they are just so very, very rare.

warmest regards peppa
