Hi Kb 75,
can you elaborate of these sij issues/symptoms. never hear of them before. I have crps of upper right limb which spread to left foot the the other foot and hand, burning sensations have been creeping up my legs to the calves. had intermittent numbness to right thigh. now getting excruciating pain through both groins/pelvic regions. scans show no abnormalities to the region, haven't strained any muscles yet pain is becoming increasingly worse across left thigh. when seated, its like my left leg is in a vice/syuffering from a massive spasm. pain goes down to ankle which feels like its being crushed. in my left upper thigh/groin I can pinpoint the exact region where the nerve spasms/general ache comes from and yet when probed closely, there is no soreness. then when I try to walk, with each stride, as I lengthen the leg at the back of the stride, it catches the point of agony. so weird. pain is often mirrored in the other side identically. stuffed if I know but was wondering if this sijj issue has origins in the pelvic region that manifest themselves across the upper/inner thigh. Anyone? And as Crps sufferers know, that flare brings on more grief in the upper extremities.

Hi KB75,

I can only elaborate on my symptoms being: Groin pain radiating out to the hip, back pain centering on the side of the offending SIJ, pain going down behind left leg to behind knee. I have a hypermobile right SIJ which I've found an SIJ belt helps a lot. I should point out I also have issues with my piriformis muscles whereby stretches of them also help.
