Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone really know about Lumbar Decompression Therapy but I've had an amazing experience with it and want people to know its out there.

It's a really simple technique that involves continuous passive traction into extension which helps to mobilize the injured disc, rehydrate it and creates a force pulling the nucleus back to the centre.

I had a really bad L4/5 protrusion that was actually desiccated which caused severe pain into my leg. Saw a surgeon, saw a physio. Was finally referred to a guys in the city that does LDT and it worked wonders for me.

Look into it guys. Happy to help if anyone has any questions.

Marc

Kindest regards

Hi
I would also be interested in an update, but what sort of practitioner does umbar Decompression therapy? Are they particular specialists and what is the cost?
Given I have tried most things, I admit to not being aware of this, so thank you for posting.

Was that where they anchored your shoulders and your hips -- or legs and gently stretched you ?? I had this done 30 years ago and it did help a lot for a short time, I also used to hang from a monkey bar type affair at home and get my Husband to gently pull on my legs which helped a little also

I read about this recently, where a Chiropractor with this equipment wraps two sets blanket like material, one in the buttocks region and the other just above, it gentle pulsates over 20 minutes to do a small "stretch", it in itself does not cause pain. The first session (free) is it see if you are a suitable candidate. Sessions after this cost $55. Need to do 3 sessions per week (big problem for me as I live 3 hours drive from Brisbane). Look up "Springwood wellness centre" for further info.

I have an iversion table which so far has helped immensely with my protruding discs.
The trick is not to go on to geeat an angle so that there is only a slight pull on the spine.
