This is my teenage sons story on how he was able to overcome his Chronic Migraines without the use of medication. I really feel the need to share his success in the hope that we could help someone else living with chronic pain.

Our son Tyler is 15 years old and suffered Chronic Migraines for over 2 years, out of which he missed 18 months of school. 2 hours of school work would result in a 5 day Migraine spent in bed in complete darkness. GP's, Neurologists and Paediatricians couldn't find a cause, and used numerous types of medications as a band aid solution. We also tried alternatives such as chiropractor, acupuncture and cupping, physiotherapy, psychology, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, bohan therapy, remedial massage, diet changes, allergy testing and more. Some would give little relief but not enough to give Tyler quality of life. Then Neurophysics Therapy was recommended to us. We took 1 week to make the decision to give it a go, and 2 weeks later Tyler had started his therapy. Within 4 days Tyler felt no pain at all! We went from counting hours to days to weeks. Positive changes were happening before our eyes. Tyler's posture improved, he was no longer pale and sickly looking, and best of all his smile came back. He was also able to cease all medications by week 2. Everything about Neurophysics is absolutely amazing, the research and development, the treatment therapy, the ongoing self managed program, and the amazing people with the passion for improving lives. If you are reading this post then Neurophysics Therapy has been brought to your attention for a reason. Take a deep breath, have faith in yourself and just do it! You wont regret it.
Here is the video that was taken of Tyler during his time at Neurophysics Therapy, in his own words. Please watch and share with loved ones who have pain challenges in their life :)
Thanks for reading

Hey Adams -Crew,
What you are suggest is a way to help relieve something which you are in a way born with , the majority of us aren't born with our CP It is some ting that can happen after major surgery,a dramatic fall ,deteriorating bones (my vertebrae are crumbling away),basically any number of accidents or injuries caused by themselves or others of which they still can't find the answers or ways to totally relieve this pain ,they and we are trying all different mediums and sharing this info. so thanks for the tip maybe some of us on the forum may look it up and decide that they will give it a whirl ,but as I said not all on this forum have had chronic pain from birth it is something that we didn't know it was going to sneak up on us.

Just a few things in response to your post Johnno.

Chronic pain is debilitating and can effect everything you do in life, and also the people around you. It can take away so much quality of life that that also hurts as well. Chronic pain is still chronic pain no matter where it comes from or what is the cause.

My 15 year old son's story of how he was able to improve his quality of life after suffering debilitating Chronic Migraines for a few years is indeed a positive story. He and I want to share his story with the world in the hope that it gives other people who suffer on a daily basis with chronic pain something positive to focus on. Something that says be brave and keep up the fight! In a forum like this where there are a lot of people struggling with all sorts of challenges, it is nice to spread a little positivity.

Also, as I now understand because the links to my son's video have been deleted, because it has been taken as soliciting a therapy. In my observation of some of these forum there are many medicines and other therapies mentioned, so I am a little bit lost there. The therapy that changed my son's life is self regulated and medication free. The people we met while there were people who were in wheel chairs due to accidents, or strokes, or stresses and anxieties, and more not just presumed born with conditions.

Adams -crew,

I know chronic pain is debilitating because I have post herpatic nueralgia predominantly from the kidney region and all the way down my right leg inc. my foot without lyrica I am in a ball in the corner of the room in agony.
I am on the maximum dose daily and I am seeing a Pain management specialist physician and I will ask her about nuerophysics therapy and shall do as the doctor tells me.
I mentioned lyrica because it works for me but I don't prescribe it as only a doctor can, I am all for trying something new or different ways of treating chronic pain and if it is free that is a bonus I am glad that nuerophysics - therapy was helpful for your son, but we have to be diligent and if something is seen to possibly be soliciting it is generally removed , our big chief is the one who generally makes the call not me.
If there are medications and other Therapies mentioned it is possible they have slipped through the cracks and haven't been taken down by the boss .
Thank you for the tip I will follow through with my dr
Regards
Johnno

Is this neurophysics the same thing as neurotherapy?

I am trying neurotherapy/neuro-biofeedback at the moment. I have daily, debilitating migraines every time I wake up every morning. No pain relief. I rarely see a day without them. I've just started neurotherapy and the therapist describes migraines as 'seizures' in the brain.

I'd love to know if it is the same thing.
