Hi Ababy

Could your ask your current therapist what the difference is.
Unfortunately using trendy sounding medical terms are used by some to justify their practices which may or may not be in the best interest of suffererers.
One current one I see in advertisments is "Ethical nutrients"
One must be very cautious in using methods that are not recognized by main stream medicine. Sometimes the outcomes can be quite disasterous.
Sorry if I sound negative but that my personal opinion
Regards Arjay/Ron

Hi Desard

What a can of worms youve asked.

Neuroplasticity is a buzz word, one of the latest in the scientific literature explosion.

One can link this to miracles/hypnosis/ and religious experiences and Frued.

Also the so called "Placebo" effect. which is in almost every clinical trial results.

Research in medicine is generally a very wavy concept depending on the topic, the method of data acquiration and analysis, not mention the skills/experience of the people/organizations running it,
and the grants which follow.

One of the books into herbal remedies i looked at 653 pages of studies. :S

Most were of less than 10 people. Hardly a statistical sample.

Another on Mineral therapy seems to have gone nowhere.

One has to ask if these "treatments etc" were so good why are they not commercialized. The payoffs would be enormous.

On the other hand Heh HEh

The chinese have practiced non trivial surgery without anasthetic over many years.

In my own case some years ago I twisted my spine ratjher badly and piched a nerve or 2 and lay in absolute agony on my bed for 6 weeks hadly moving

Maximum doses of tramadol plus addition panadiene forte did nothing, if ide taken any more I would have carked it.

Gradually over months without tablets the pain subsided and I was able to get on with my life but still with chronic pain which was at least tolerable.

There was one time only, maybe I imagined it,but for about a minute the pain had left me completely but the came back with a vengance.

Maybe one can retrain the brain but as they say "When youre up to youre............ in crockadailes "its hard to remember youre there to drain the swamp."

When youve just hit your thumb with a hammer its hard to think of "Mother England"

Again Ive thoughly confused myself so i will go back to my unconcious state :(

God my spellig is atro...bad.

Regards to all

Hey Ron,
Ethical nutrients are pretty well supplements to ones diet my wife has some of them as she is low in some essential minerals.
Their catch cry is "have you had your inner health plus today" in a squeaky voice like Mickey Mouse .
Cheers mate

as long as I wake up alive I'm happy
Because it could be worse
