My pain specialist recently put me on Dilaudid 2mg and he told me it should work for 6 hours but I find it wears off after 3 or 4. I would love to hear some feedback on experiences with this drug. Thanks

I also find that it only works for about four hours, i have a 4mg tablet prescribed which i can have two a day for breakthrough pain in addition to the slow release version which is Junista, i take 20mg of this at night. please dont hesitate in contacting me should you wish to find out any further information. I have recently been diagnosed with Adhesive Arachnoiditis, which is basically inflammation of the spinal nerves, quite rare but becoming increasingly recognized particularly with people who have chronic pain from "failed back Surgery" if this could be you i urge you to look into it more.
